1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Linkin TT platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Linkin TT Limited, a company registered in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

2. Description of Service

Linkin TT provides a home services marketplace that enables homeowners and service professionals to connect, exchange quotes, process secure escrow payments, conduct safety check-ins, and maintain verified reviews and trust scores across Trinidad and Tobago.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Professional accounts may maintain business profiles with trade certifications and portfolio information.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information in profile verification submissions.
• Attempt to circumvent security controls or access data belonging to other users.
• Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the Service without express written permission.
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service without prior authorization.

5. Platform Rules & Independent Contractor Acknowledgment

While Linkin TT provides escrow payments, safety features, and dispute resolution tools, you retain full responsibility for the quality of services rendered or received. Linkin TT is strictly a matchmaking platform.

Independent Contractor Relationship: All professionals operating on the Linkin TT platform are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or joint venturers of Linkin TT. Professionals:

• Set their own hours, schedules, and service areas.
• Provide their own tools, equipment, and materials.
• Determine their own rates and quote amounts.
• Retain the absolute right to accept or decline any link request.
• Are solely responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and regulatory compliance.

All service agreements are formed exclusively between the homeowner and the professional directly. Linkin TT is not liable for the acts, omissions, errors, property damage, or negligence of any professional.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by Linkin TT and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to data you upload to the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linkin TT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, we reserve the right to delete your account data, subject to regulatory retention obligations.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
